A guest lecture focused on Microgrids was hosted by the IEEE PES (Power and Energy Society) of KDU in collaboration with the electrical, electronics and telecommunication engineering department. It was held on 17th of October 2023 from 10.00 AM onwards at the faculty of engineering, KDU.   

Renowned industry expert Prof. (Eng.) Lidula Nilakshi who is distinguished professor at the department of electrical engineering of university of moatuwa, explored the concept of microgrids, purpose behind them and different applications in the field of engineering. The lecture was greatly beneficial for both the students and the academics as it provided them with valuable insights into one of the rapidly expanding frontier in the field of electrical engineering.
