A guest lecture hosted by the IEEE PES (Power and Energy Society) of KDU in collaboration with the Electrical, Electronics and telecommunication Engineering department focused on “Future Trends in Engineering”, was held on 11th of August 2023 from 2.45 PM onwards at the FDSS Auditorium.

The lecture aimed to explore the latest advancements and emerging technologies in the field of engineering. Renowned industry expert Prof. Chandima Gomes who is distinguished professor of high voltage engineering shared his insights on different topics. The lecture was greatly beneficial for the students as it provided them with valuable industry insights and networking opportunities.
