The Department of Electrical Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is seeking the IESL recognition for Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Honours in Biomedical Engineering degree program. The IESL evaluation panel has visited KDU on 2023 November 08th and 9th .

 The IESL evaluation panel had meetings with vice chancellor, dean, head of the department, senior and junior academic staff members, quality assurance team, industrial training engineer, technical, academic support, administrative staff, undergraduate students, and recent graduate students.

They also had a tour of the facilities including laboratories, workshops, library and other student learning and support areas.
