In a vibrant and ceremonious gathering, the Faculty of Engineering ushered in its newest batch of engineering students of Intake 41, on the 26th of February 2024, marking the beginning of an exciting journey into the realms of innovation and technology. The inauguration ceremony was held at FOE 6-1 attended by the academic staff of the Faculty.
The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by the Dean Faculty of Engineering,Prof. TL Weerawardane, who highlighted the importance of engineers in the modern world and the unique opportunities that KDU offers.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Eng. Nalin De Silva,Managing director NSDS Associates Pvt Ltd & Director State Engineering Corporation, who delivered an inspiring keynote address.
