As part of their 'Industrial visits' module, Intake 40 students of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree program visited the Ceylon Electricity Board- Pannipitiya Grid Substation on August 21st, 2025. The group, comprising more than 40 participants including students, academic, and non-academic staff members, explored the facility.

During the visit, the substation electrical superintendents  provided comprehensive insights into the operation and students were able to observe the key power system equipment of the facility.
