On March 29th, 2023, a successful MATLAB Simulink workshop was conducted at the faculty of engineering at KDU. The workshop was attended by students from intakes 38 and 39 and was conducted by Mr. Lumbini Eranda, a mechanical engineering undergraduate of intake 38.
The workshop started at 1500hrs after academic hours, and the attendees were introduced to MATLAB Simulink, and its uses, and familiarized with the software. They were able to learn how to model algebraic equations, solve mass damper systems, and model vehicle motion.
MATLAB Simulink is a powerful tool for modeling and simulating dynamic systems, and the workshop provided the attendees with an opportunity to learn and improve their skills. With MATLAB Simulink, engineers can create and test models of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, making it an essential tool for any engineering student or professional.
The workshop was a great success, and the attendees were able to gain valuable knowledge and practical experience with the software. The session was interactive, and the attendees were able to ask questions and receive answers from the facilitators.
In conclusion, the MATLAB Simulink workshop at KDU was a great success, and the attendees were able to learn and improve their skills with the software. It is hoped that more workshops of this kind will be conducted in the future to further enhance the knowledge and skills of engineering students at KDU.
