The awarness session of the Student Chapter of the Royal Aeronautical Society was conducted on the 12th of August 2024 at 3.00pm at FOE 2-4 with students from FOE, FMSH and FOC participating from all intakes.

The session was started by Sanjaya Dissanayaka, the Vice President who introduced the Chapter and the parent chapter in UK. The next segment was conducted by the President, A A Azeez who explained what the Chapter's goals are and what RAeS KDU aims to conduct in the future. In addition to this, previous events were also mentioned by the President who then informed the members on how to join both, the parent society and RAeS KDU.

Minidu Wijerathne introduced the R/C Aircraft Division to the members and informed them on how to join the Division.

The members were treated to a short video highlighting the past events of RAeS KDU as well as images of the themed meetings - and showing the members that fun is present in aviation as well!
