The Student Chapter, in aims with its humanitarian goals conducted a very successful blood donation campaign for the students and the staff of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on the 26^th of April 2023, assisted by the staff of the University Hospital of KDU.

The donation was held in the FOE 2-4 classroom from 9.00 – 3.00. About 100 participants including the Officer in Charge, Wng. Cdr. S. N. Kiriwella donated blood as well as students and staff from various faculties. The event was the first of its kind held in KDU and it was decided to make the event an annual event organized by the Chapter in accordance with the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) of the University.

The participants were given refreshments as well as a KDU RAeS branded pen for their contribution.
