The farewell event "Resonance" of the intake 38 Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EE) students was held on the 11th of November 2024 at the FOE 7-1 classroom, to mark the completion of their undergraduate journey at KDU.
The purpose of the event was to celebrate this significant milestone while acknowledging the guidance and support provided by all the academic and non-academic staff of the Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department. It also served as an opportunity for the batch to reflect on their shared experiences and achievements, during their time in the department.
The event was attended by Senior Professor JR Lucas, the Head of the Department Capt. (L) RT Hettiarachchi, EE degree program coordinator LCdr (L) MRRA Bandara, all other academic staff of the EE degree program, and all 36 students of the 38 EE batch, comprising of 24 day scholars and 12 cadets.
The event included reflections from several students who shared their thoughts, experiences, and memorable moments throughout their undergraduate journey. Tokens of appreciation were presented to Senior Professor JR Lucas, the Head of the Department, and the EE degree program coordinator in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the students' academic journey. The event concluded on a celebratory note, fostering a sense of pride and gratitude among all attendees.
