The Sri Lankan Robotics Challenge (SLRC) 2025, organized by the E-Club of the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, was held for the 12th consecutive year, bringing together robotics enthusiasts from across the country.
A team of students: MDBG Gunathilake, RPMD Mahagama, WMD Wijerathne, and MTN Karunarathne representing the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University took part in this prestigious competition competing under the name Nucleo 5.
The team advanced through the University Category Elimination Round held on 23rd March 2025 and qualified for the Grand Finale, which took place on 6th April 2025.
Demonstrating both technical skill and teamwork, the team gave a commendable performance at the Grand Finale, proudly representing the Faculty of Engineering of KDU.
