As part of their 'Industrial visits' module, Intake 39 students of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree program visited the Orange Electric Factory - Panaluwa on August 27th, 2024. The group, comprising more than 30 participants including students, academic, and non-academic staff members, explored the facility.

During the visit, the factory engineer provided comprehensive insights into the operating process of the factory. Students were able to observe different stages of electrical equipment manufacturing ranging from raw material fabrication to sample testing procedures.
