A workshop focused on cable awareness was hosted by the IEEE PES (Power and Energy Society) of KDU in collaboration with the Electrical, Electronics and telecommunication Engineering department. This was held on 22nd of January 2024 from 9.00 AM onwards at the Faculty of engineering, KDU.

Renowned industry expert Mr. Palitha Ethulgama who is the deputy general manager at ACL cables plc introduced the different cable types, their manufacturing processes and different standards related to cables. The lecture was greatly beneficial for the students as it provided them with both theoretical and practical knowledge in cables.
