ROBOFEST 2022, the annual robotics competition organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) was held on 25th and 26th of September 2022 aiming to expose the robotic design talents of students all around the country.

The team consisting of Intake 38 Mechatronic Engineering students; DV Lokuranamuka, LLD Perera, IRG Wijerathna, GRA Senaratne,and OBH Thanthreege competed under the name ‘KDU-Team C’ where they emerged as the best performing team at the event and they were awarded the Consolation Price under the university category.
