Intake 37 Marine Engineering undergraduates distinguished themselves by earning the prestigious Best Project award at Mechanical/ Marine cluster for their final-year project titled "Designing and Implementation of an Operational-Level Arduino-Based Marine Engine Simulator." The adept team, composed of Mid SADR Madhuwantha, Mid LBND Rajasekara, Mid RGYK Rajapakshe, and Mid JPKD Amarathunga, showcased exceptional dedication and ingenuity throughout the project.

The primary focus of their undertaking was the simulation of the ship's vital organ, the Main Engine Room. The team demonstrated remarkable proficiency in replicating all critical systems, including an earnest endeavor to simulate the intricate procedures involved in both starting and stopping the marine engine.
