A fruitful webinar was conducted by Prof Martin Renilson on 23^rd January 2024 via online to all of the marine engineering and naval architecture students of Kotelawala Defence University and serving officers as well as the retired officers of Sri Lanka Navy and all interested parties. The webinar was flown around an hour and the insights given by Prof Martin was highly beneficial to the students to gain their knowledge on the topic of “The role of the Naval Architect in Ship Procurement and Operation”. There were more than 50 participants and concluded session after question-and-answer session.
