The Student Chapter of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) of KDU successfully conducted an awareness session tailored for the newly enrolled students of Intake 42, with the aim of introducing them to the dynamic world of aviation and the role of RAeS in their academic and professional journey.

Introducing the Society and the Skies

The session provided students with valuable insights into the Royal Aeronautical Society and its global presence, as well as the various opportunities that it offers young and aspiring aeronautical professionals. The participants were given a broad overview of the aviation field through a series of interactive presentations as well as collaborative discussions. Students too engaged enthusiastically, coming up with questions every now and then, thereby showing genuine curiosity.

As part of the session, an aero themed quiz was conducted to assess and encourage the participants’ awareness of the aviation and aeronautical fields. The quiz featured a mix of general knowledge, technical questions and fun facts about aviation and aircraft. It fostered both learning and friendly competition among the students. Winners of the quiz were awarded tokens of appreciation, recognizing their passion for aviation, and encouraging further interest in the field.
