The Student Chapter, in aims with its humanitarian goals conducted a very successful blood donation campaign for the students and the staff of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on the 29th of April 2025, assisted by the staff of the University Hospital of KDU.

The donation was held in the FOE 2-4 classroom from 9.00 – 3.00. About 130 participants including the academic, academic supportive, non academic staff and students from various faculties donated blood for this venture. The event was held for the third consecutive time in KDU. Further the event was held as an annual event organized by the Chapter in accordance with the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) of the University.

The participants were given refreshments as well as a KDU RAeS branded pen for their contribution.
