We are honoured that Ceylon Aeronautical Services hosted the undergraduates from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering of KDU on the 30th of August 2024 at their base in Koggala.

The undergraduates from intakes 38,39 and 40 visited the facility and were taught and shown various aspects of aircraft maintenance that included riveting/deriveting procedures, tool storage procedures, flight control surface repair and overhaul, painting as well as the documentation part of the entire operation.

The undergraduates were also exposed to how an AMO works in terms of Quality control.

They got to see Cessna Grand Caravans undergoing final inspection by Engineers as well as repairs on structural components of the DHC Twin Otter aircraft.
