An Interview featuring about ‘’Warna'24" The Art Exhibition was telecasted on Rupavahini Channel at the Shanida Ayubowan programme from 9:00 am onwards on 13th July 2024. The advisor of the Art Circle, Ms. NGSA Nawarathne, the president of the Art Circle, Day scholar Sandeepa Madhushan of Intake 39 and the treasurer, Officer Cadet KMSY Rodrigo of Intake 39 had participated for the interview. The concept behind this exhibition which showcases the talents of the undergraduates, specially at Engineering Faculty was highlighted and praised. A sincere thanks and gratitude was given to the Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS) for the continued support provided in making this event a success. Special thanks was also given to Prof. Dr. -Ing. Thushara Weerawardane; Dean Faculty of Engineering for the unwavering guidance extended for this extraordinary exhibition. A heartfelt tribute was also given to Capt. (Retd) Eng SU Dampage; former Dean - Faculty of Engineering for initiating this unique concept which helped in bringing out the concealed talents of the undergraduates at KDU.
This year, the exhibition will be held for the second time at the KDU premises on 23rd and 24th of July. An open invitation was extended to all who are interested in witnessing the talents of the undergraduates at KDU.
