"Sukith Siriwardena, a student of intake 38 of the department of Civil Engineering, won second place in the Sri Lankan Geotechnical Society Research Project Day competition held on 26 March 2025 in Colombo. The Sri Lankan Geotechnical Society has been organizing this research competition annually since 2000. The event features a competition among final-year undergraduates who have conducted research in Geotechnical Engineering. This year, there were 19 competitors representing all Sri Lankan universities.
