Department Industry Consultative Board meeting for the BSc. Eng. (Honours) in Building Services Engineering degree was held successfully on 31st of March 2022 with the participation of Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Head of the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering , Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, academic staff members of KDU and other state universities and many experts in the field of Building Services Engineering from the industry and tri-forces.

BSc. Eng. (Honours) in Building Services Engineering degree is a new degree programme planned to be introduced in year 2023. This is the first undergraduate degree programme in the field of Building Services Engineering offered by a Sri Lankan University. This DICB meeting was the second DICB meeting held in the process of developing this new degree programme.
