The monthly research seminar organized by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering for the month of February was successfully held on 28th February 2019 at Faculty of Engineering with the participation of academic staff members and undergraduates of Faculty of Engineering. Mr. Dakshina Fernando, one of the academic members of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, presented his research finding under the title of "Advanced Modelling of KF Implemented Flying Wing". At the end of the session there was a discussion forum which was facilitated to discuss in depth regarding his research work. Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Group Captain CJ Hettiarachchi welcomed the gathering. The event was graced by the Advisor of the Engineering Faculty Research Cell, Prof. I. Dayawansa and the Chairperson of the Faculty Research Cell Dr. Thanuja Kulathunga. The Engineering Faculty Research Cell representative of the department, Ms. Dulani Kuruppu delivered the vote of thanks, which brought the session to an end.
