The Annual General Meeting of SEDS KDU, was held on February 15th 2024 at 15:00hrs in the FGS Auditorium, marking the inauguration of the club's new executive committee. 

Dr. Janaka Adassuriya, serving as the chief guest, added prestige to the event with his presence. The ceremony commenced with the arrival of esteemed guests, followed by the uplifting strains of the KDU anthem and the traditional lighting of the oil lamp. The event was graced by Deans of various faculties, Head of the Department of several departments within KDU as well as by several board members of SEDS Sri Lanka. 

SEDS KDU's incoming Project Manager, Ravini Samarakoon, extended a warm welcome to the assembled audience. Milni Wijebandara, the outgoing Vice President, delivered a heartfelt speech. Following this, Nisali Sadara, the outgoing Secretary, presented the minutes from the previous term.

A key aspect of the AGM was the inauguration of the new executive committee members and the divisional leads. Following their inauguration, the newly appointed president, Sathya Punchibandara, presented the future plans of the society.

10. Chapter Representative - Mudipa Imayanga
11. Membership Coordinator - Minsara Thilakarathne 
12. Committee Member - Tharushi Indrakumar

Following this Dr. Janaka Adassuriya presented a thought-provoking keynote speech. The evening culminated in a well-deserved recognition ceremony for the outgoing executive committee. Awards were presented to acknowledge their dedication and service. 

The AGM concluded with a group photograph. Overall, the well-organized event served as a platform for a smooth leadership transition and underscored a shared vision for the advancement of space exploration and development at KDU.
