In celebration of World Environment Day, IET On Campus – General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) organized a meaningful tree planting
initiative within the university premises, reaffirming our commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action.This year’s World Environment Day emphasizes restoring land, halting desertification, and building drought resilience, reminding us all of our duty to protect the planet we call home. Rising to this call, members of IET On Campus – KDU gathered to plant a variety of trees and greenery that will not only enhance the campus environment but also contribute to long-term ecological benefits.
