02nd and 03rd phases of FOE Building were opened on 14th January 2020 by the Vice Chancellor Air Vice Marshal HMSKB KOTAKADENIYA WWV, RWP, RSP, VSV, USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), MA (IR), fndu, psc. DVC(Def & Admin), DVC(Academic), all deans and some of the academic and military staff were participated in this event.
Final Year Project Exhibition 2019 was held on 13th December 2019 in FOE 6-1. Total number of 46 projects done by intake 33 students from 7 degree programmes were displayed and the best project was selected from each degree programme.
KDU Open day was held on 06th October 2019 in order to cater the academic needs of prospective students of KDU. The Departments of Aeronautical, Marine, EE/ET/BM, Mechanical and Civil Engineering demonstrated their inventions giving information about the degrees conducted by the respective departments.
12th International Research Conference of KDU was held on 11th and 12th September 2019 at KDU. Faculty of Engineering organized a plenary session, a poster session, 4 technical sessions and a preconference workshop and two manuscripts were awarded as the best paper oral and the best poster for KDU IRC 2019.
