Engineering Faculty Information Technology Cell (EFIT Cell) was established in 2015 in order to achieve high web ranking in the web metrics index.

EFIT Cell is responsible for keeping the websites of the Faculty and all the Departments up to date with the help of Centre for IT Support and Development Services (CITS & DS) of KDU. In addition to this, EFIT Cell has been playing a remarkable role in establishing an IT Laboratory to the Faculty. Identifying educational and administrative requirements of the Faculty and giving appropriate software solutions when necessary is another contribution being made by EFIT Cell for the advancement of the Faculty.

EFIT Cell is a blend of a chairperson, a representative from each and every department and a convener who are appointed annually by the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Engineering.
