Samanalawewa Hydro power station Field Visit

The inaugural field visit organized by the IEEE Power & Energy Society Student Branch Chapter of KDU to the Samanalawewa Hydro Power Station on 28th of January 2023 was a resounding success and a remarkable experience for all attendees. It offered a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the inner workings of a state-of-the-art hydro power station. The engineers and experts from the power station engaged with the attendees, answering questions and sharing their experiences in this field of hydroelectric power generation.
