Design team member of First K-factor Transformer in Sri Lanka which can withstand a system with high harmonic content. It was manufactured at LTL Transformers (Pvt) Ltd and commissioned at Siamcity Cement (INSEE Cement), Puttalam.
Project member in designing the Reactive Power Controller for Regulation of Voltage with Integrated Wind Farms. It was design for Northern region of Sri Lanka after identifying the prevailing over-voltage levels owing to Ferranti Effect etc. and owing to the integration of 100 MW Mannar Wind Power Plant.
OPTIMO is an Electrical Feeder Topology Optimization Software written using Python as the language. It decides the optimum method to inject power to feeders in a way that the power loss is a minimum while allowing the user to observe the voltage variation along the feeders. It was designed at RMA Energy Consultants (Pvt) Ltd.
